The Venetian Macao is a casino resort in Macau, China owned by the Las Vegas Sands hotel-casino chain and its the world's largest casino. The Venetian is a huge complex with the central building standing over 40 stories high and costing US$2.4-billion to build. The 120,000-square meter Venetian Macao is modeled on its sister casino resort – the The Venetian in Las Vegas.

The Venetian claims to be the world's largest gaming space, taking up 550,000 square feet and housing 3,400 slot machines. The casino hosts more than 800 gambling tables.

It also claims to be the largest building in Asia and the second largest in the world. Currently the Boeing Company plant in Washington State, USA is the largest building globally.

It also has a smaller replica of the famous, romantic city of Venice which proves once again that Asians love to copy western culture.
